Santana Artist 198 Brown Burst Gloss

This eye-catching acoustic electric guitar is made with a dreadnought-sized body on which is mounted a mahogany neck. The dreadnought model is the most successful and widespread design in the guitar world and is today so in demand that over 90% of all western guitars are built according to this recipe. Dreadnought western guitars have a powerful volume with a naturally deep bass, a crisp treble and a clear midrange that responds equally well to picks and fingering.

Luxury details

The Santana Artist 198 comes with a built-in microphone system, which consists of a built-in preamplifier and microphone, which is located under the bridge. If you need to amplify the guitar, you can also do this.

The guitar's built-in armrest improves the contact between the guitar's body and the player's arm and ensures that you can play longer without fatigue and infiltrations in the right arm.

The Artist 198 is beautifully decorated with beautiful wooden inlays in the rosette and "S" mother-of-pearl inlays in the fingerboard.

Torrefaction is a process where the wood is heated to a low temperature in an oxygen-free environment, which reduces impurities in the wood, and results in weight loss and increased stiffness. The process produces a chemical reaction in the wood that is very similar to the process that wood goes through when it is dried for decades. The result is an extra resonant lightweight deck that releases a tone very similar to that of an old guitar that has been loved and played for years. The tone in a torrefaction treated deck is impressive, and when paired with rosewood on the back and sides, it results in a guitar with extra punch, projection, and warmth.
