Santana B8NA v2 is a nylon stringed classical guitar in standard 4/4 size. 4/4 size means that this guitar is suitable for adults and children from approximately 10 years and up.
The B8 model is available in 4 different finishes and in a lefthanded version. It is also possible to acquire a version mounted with an EQ system and with cutaway.

Environmentally correct quality materials

This particular model is made with a deck in laminated spruce, and bottom and sides in mahogany. Spruce delivers a broad dynamic range, and you will get a consistent sound regardless of your style of playing. The mahogany back and sides ads a warm tone with excellent midrange and bass emphasis. As a result of the tone wood combination, the B8 is quite versatile in terms of its sound.
Both the fingerboard and the bridge are made of composite wood to avoid the use of rosewood. The reason for that is, that rosewood is covered by nature protection (CITES). The rest of the guitar is made out of environmentally correct types of wood species.
The engineers and designers at Santana have been careful in producing composite wood that offers the same fine sound that rosewood does.
