The Santana B8 guitar is made with a laminated spruce top, and bottom and sides in mahogany. Both the fingerboard and the bridge are made of a composite material.
The guitar is equipped with a built-in pickup and control unit which is mounted on the side of the guitar, so it is easily accessible when playing. The control unit also includes a built-in tuner.
